Saone and Sercy

We toured a bit of the Saone River near Macon with Elisabeth and then with Lauryne...

It was around this time when we wanted to see the chateau at Sercy...a small village with 5 dos d'ans to slow the traffic. Only an idiot who wanted his car to fall apart would speed through Sercy.

A sign at the gate welcomes visitors, but requests that they not play in the sandbox. A family lives here so inside the chateau can't be explored. Mimi and Harriet Ann walked around the grounds and were able to enter the family chapel. below is its ceiling...
