Tomorrow federal taxes are due. Thankfully, I took care of that early last month. One row of wood left in the wood shed...5 cords ordered to keep Griff busy while I'm away. That's Bonnie waiting for the mail carrier and a likely cookie over the fence. Christmas decorations are still on the gate. That's another job I'm leaving for Griff. Those are wooden birds of welcome at the people gate. Three red birds are hard to see in front of the wood stack.
It wasn't the smartest move, but the septic tank got placed in the front walk when we built the house. The location has kept it safe from snow plows until this winter when Greg clipped it and broke the riser and lid. Griff has had it well covered since then, but now repairing it is another chore to keep him busy while I'm off galavanting.
He probably won't put my big flower pots on top of the lids for the summer... unless maybe Sarah drops by and says she'll plant some flowers in them.
This post is really practice. I goofed after importing the first two pictures by not exiting correctly so I needed another picture to figure out what I had done wrong. This fish hangs in my nook, gently swimming in any breeze, not at all concerned that the heavens are dumping gallons of water a few feet away while rivers are rising to flood stage.
Meanwhile, with Griff's help I did figure out how to exit properly from an import. The next blog post will be from France...
