Cluny Market

On Saturday Lauryne drove us, Mimi, Harriet Ann, and me, to the Cluny outdoor market. Her mom and dad had gotten there ahead of us and phoned to say where they were parked so she could take their space. There was an equestrian festival happening at the same time so parking was nigh impossible. Fortunately, we'd brought the heavy-duty rollator for me which didn't mind traveling over cobblestones.

The market is huge. We bought sauccison along with veggies and a melon. I found the lady who sells meringue and bought 2 loaves!

We worked our way to the far end of the market where Mimi and I hung out listening to the band from Africa who stay in Blanot when they are touring in this area...

On our way back through the market I stopped to buy a tablecloth while Mimi and Harriet Ann each bought clothing.

We had invited Elisabeth and Anne to come for dinner so it was a busy and delightful evening.
