Elisabeth dropped by this afternoon with figs fresh from a tree in her garden. I haven't had fresh figs in years. Yum! I took a few pictures outside until it began to sprinkle. Shortly after that there was a beautiful rainbow so I ran outside to take pictures again...
And then I noticed the cats hanging out near the closed in porch...
Lauryne's house is behind this porch...and there it is...
Francis brought in wood for the living room. This evening Marie-Annick got the wood stove going in the dining room while the living room fire just sputtered along. It's been plenty warm enough.
And dinner looked so good I just had to take a picture. We had the soup again along with saucisson, my favorite, and a tomato salad with cucumber and feta cheese. Lauryne joined us for dinner.
And now it is past my bedtime!
