We brought a fruit salad made by Elisabeth. A family friend brought this cake.
It was good, but the fruit salad was better.
I wanted to be with friends for a last meal together and so we gathered one evening at the auberge.
Silliness is always welcome...
It was good to have an evening with Francoise. She has been busy with her 99 year old mother.
Mireille, potter extraordinaire, and Noel gave me a going away gift for "the bear."
The bowl would have to be for a baby bear, perfect because I already have Blanot bowls for mama and papa bears.
It now has a safe place to reside...
This is the doll house I created between semesters while getting my master's degree so many years ago.
If you haven't spotted the bowl above, here is a close-up of the doll house living room.
The bowl sits on the table beneath the clock by the front door.
Now I have something I see every day that reminds me of the wonderful, caring people I have met and grown to love.
Thank you, Mireille.
