Ursula & Marblehead

Wow. I have some catching up to do. It's almost November, but this post is about the first weekend in May. Ursula was in a play put on by a youth theatre group. I headed to North Easton, Massachusetts, south of Boston, to see her perform and got there early enough to have a bite to eat and watch her riding her bike. There are some big houses on her street, but her home was once a carriage house. It's the white building in the background below.

It's a pleasant house, especially with the woods nearby, but there really isn't room for company to sleep over. I tried that once. I didn't get much sleep so I had a better plan for this time.

After the play we returned to Ursula's home to relax and talk about the evening's entertainment. Then I programmed my TomTom (GPS) to guide me to the Weltner's home in Marblehead, north of Boston.

We spend a lot of time together when Jack and Linda come up to their camp in Belmont, VT during the summer months. Then I try to visit them once or twice during the rest of the year.

This is actually the back door entrance. That's a fake Canada goose.

In Vermont the dining room is a picnic table under the trees. Quite a difference!

The Godons from Sologny, France will recognize this. Jack and Linda welcomed all of us to stay with them in August when we went on a whale watch. Having good friends and a gorgeous place to stay made up for the lack of whales.
