Disappearing Trees

Back in Vermont I needed to remove 4 trees to let more sunlight reach my leach field. It was fascinating to watch the fellows work. Nothing was wasted. We have been burning the larger pieces in our wood stove and the branches became mulch to eliminate weeds between the raised beds in the vegetable garden.

That's a silly looking metal bug with red feet that dangles in various places around my gardens. Today it can be glad it wasn't dangling on a tree branch!
